In a highly complex socio-political landscape such as The Maghreb, repressive regimes and economic challenges hinder progress, and the EU's disjointed approach and distant priorities exacerbate the situation. To address these challenges, closer EU-Maghreb collaboration is needed, focusing on economic development, intraregional trade, and institution-building.
