Vaccine diplomacy further complicates geopolitical rivalries, straining Arab economies and fostering authoritarian tendencies. Iran, Iraq, Libya, and Syria remain focal points of concern, with Iran's actions posing notable destabilization risks. Despite progress in some areas, persistent challenges such as foreign intervention, political instability, and humanitarian crises endure. The region braces for another tumultuous year, although there remains a glimmer of hope for the emergence of a new regional order.
