Abstract: Looking into the Middle East and North African region's prospects for 2021, it is clear that the COIVD-19 pandemic has significantly impacted economies, especially oil producers striving for diversification admist falling prices. There is also continuation of  geopolitical tensions, including potential escalations between Israel and Iran, and the implications for negotiations such as the JCPOA. Additionally, the ongoing conflicts in regions like the Sahel, North Africa, and the Levant, lead to a risk of further instability exacerbated by factors such as climate change. Despite hopes for optimism with vaccination efforts, regional rivalries and geopolitical tensions will persist, albeit potentially in a more diplomatic manner. Ultimately, the region is likely to see a continuation of existing challenges.
